Both Harbor Cottage and Guest House are architect-designed and have been completely renovated during the past two years with brand-new kitchens, bathrooms, laundry room and bedrooms. Harbor Cottage and Guest House are designed to function independently of each other, and each has its own specific character, together comprising a harmonious, integrated whole. Harbor Cottage is larger, has a gourmet quality kitchen and sleeps one couple in luxurious comfort. The Guest House has a smaller, simpler kitchen, two double bedrooms and comfortably sleeps four adults. Together they function exceptionally well for families where there is more than one adult couple, families where there are grandparents, children and grandchildren, or friends who want to holiday together, and still have their privacy.
The bay in front offers swimming, fishing and kayaking and its protected nature is especially good for small children. At all tides ospreys, herons, gulls and other shorebirds seek out the bay’s protected waters and rich shorelands.
Harbor Cottage and Guest House are unpretentious, comfortable and designed to allow for carefree and peaceful holidays. Both houses are fully insulated and Winter vacations can be booked by arrangement. The garden has generous lawns for sunbathing and eating outdoors and access to the water is directly off the lawn and rocks at the front of the house. There is a Weber barbeque and outdoor picnic table, and a double kayak for visitors’ use.
